Vikas established Vacation India in 2008 when he started the website Vacationindia.com to help visitors discover his home country in the most enjoyable, hassle-free way. His motto has always been ‘Your Tour, Your Style, Your Budget’ and this motto, mission together with his passion has remained steadfast over the years. Since he is fluent in both English and German, he also founded Indienrundreisen.de in 2011 to accommodate the growing number of German speaking travelers to India.

While accompanying clients as a tour guide for big companies, Vikas often encountered the frustration of clients with regards to issues faced during the tour like the cast-iron private catalogue tours which do not provide any flexibility to visit the hidden gems of any destination, no allowance for the client to dine at the restaurant of his or her choice, lack of one on one support during the tour, changes made to hotel bookings without notifying the client, and surprise detours to many shops and arts and crafts demonstrations.

This knowledge is why Vikas made the decision to venture on his own, to establish a travel company that would create a tailor-made private trip for each individual client. He laid down the following points to be adhered to when dealing with every client who books a tour with Vacation India.
