Savor a royal experience on a trip to Palace of Winds, Golden Triangle or sail through desert on ‘Palace on Wheels’.

Everything here is a bit larger, more monumental, more powerful, more beautiful and more spectacular than elsewhere. A country full of culture, art and the painstakingly restored testimonies of a golden past. Rajasthan offers something for almost every traveler: adventurous experience trips, trekking in the oldest mountain area of India, the Aravallis, horse and camel safaris or a palace trip on the traces of the former Maharajas. Visit historic cities and experience the unique flora and fauna.

Rajasthan possesses a total area of about 173,000 square miles of which the desert Thar with its fascinating shifting sand dunes occupies about 90,000 square miles of the area. The rough and dry climate of Thar Desert forced the inhabitants of this region to a semi-nomadic life. The lack of vegetation is compensated however through its wealthy mineral deposits including granite and marble quarries plus silver and zinc ore mines. On the other side of the mountains, you’ll be amazed at the natural and lush landscape.

The newest excavations in Kalibangan in the district Ganganagar of north Rajasthan discovered the oldest, and most advanced culture of the Indus Valley. Rajasthan’s history is full of stories about many kingdoms and the conflicts between them The Rajputs reigned this country with an iron hand, and because of that they waged wars against the Turks, the powerful sultans from Delhi, and later against the Mughals. When in 1757 the Britons entered the continent and conquered the East of India, Rajasthan was still able to withstand them. But at the beginning of the 19th century, the Maharajas had to hand their country, and power, over to the Britons. As a result, Rajasthan found independence, and the “Land of Rajputs” was formed from 23 principalities of the old Rajputana as the state of India.

Rajasthan offers trips to fantastic forts, impressive sand dunes and beautifully restored king palaces that today are used as enchanting hotels. In town you will find villages full of colorful festitivities and friendly people. The forts you will visit are decorated with jewels, pearls, elaborate mosaics, beautiful paintings and carvings.

If you want to visit a beautiful part of India, and get lost in the legends, myths and stories, then visit Rajasthan!

What our clients say about us

Ten years ago I started practicing yoga, and fell in love with it. Then I became a yoga instructor. After studying and teaching yoga for a while, I knew in my heart that I had to get to India some time to learn from the yogis. Not only would that help me grow, but I could bring back more knowledge and experience that I could share with my students..Read more
